The end of summer, right before everything happened. We had spent some time at Calypso water park and toured the Deifenbunker museum. Even as early as a month before diagnosis, Paytan was getting tired, and more pale. She was starting to complain about her left side just under her ribs. Her eating was slowing down, she wasn’t as hungry nor eating as much as before.
